In 2019, our founder stood at the edge of a glacier-fed stream high in the Swiss Alps. The water was so clear it seemed to disappear against the ancient rock. In that moment, a simple question emerged:

"Why do we treat water—the very essence of life—as merely a commodity?"

That question became an obsession. Our founder spent the next two years traveling to the world's most pristine water sources: ancient glaciers in Svalbard, protected springs in the Swiss Alps, volcanic aquifers in Iceland. Each source revealed something profound about water's capacity to carry the memory of place.

The discovery was humbling. Water, we learned, is not just H₂O. It's a liquid archive of geological history. A glacier doesn't just store water—it preserves the atmosphere of centuries past. A volcanic aquifer doesn't just filter water—it infuses it with minerals from the earth's ancient heart.
